The OptiMATE Lithium 4s 0.8A, TM-471, is an advanced 8-step sealed battery saving charger and maintainer specifically designed for 12.8V Lithium (LiFePO4 / LiFe / LFP) batteries. This intelligent charger ensures longer battery life and optimal power for your high-performance powersport vehicles.

Charging Process (8-Step Program)

1. Step 1: Initialization & BMS Reset (Lamp 3 blinking): If a deeply discharged Lithium battery with an advanced BMS is in protective sleep mode, the charger will deliver a BMS reset pulse. Lamp 3 will blink once a second during this phase. Once the BMS resets and the battery accepts charge, Lamp 3 will turn full on.
2. Step 2: Save Mode (Lamp 3 solid): The main charging phase where the battery is charged to approximately 50% capacity.
3. Step 3: Bulk Charge (Lamp 4 lights): The main charging phase where the battery is charged to approximately 50% capacity.
4. Step 4: Absorption Charge (Lamp 5 lights): The battery continues to charge towards full capacity (100%).
5. Step 5: Verification Test: Once full charge is reached, a test is performed to confirm the battery is retaining sufficient charge. If Lamp 5 remains on, the battery is healthy.
6. Step 6: 24/7 Maintenance: The charger continuously monitors the battery's charge level and delivers small, precise charges as needed to counteract self-discharge and parasitic drains from the vehicle's electronics. This ensures your battery remains optimally charged and healthy, extending its lifespan.

This ensures your battery remains optimally charged and healthy, extending its lifespan.

Important: While the charger provides safe 24/7 maintenance, it is always recommended to periodically check your battery and charger, especially if leaving it connected for very long durations.
