1. Insert Battery and Locate USB Receiver
The Logitech Signature M550 L mouse comes with one AA battery pre-installed. To access the battery compartment and the Logi Bolt USB receiver, gently slide the top cover of the mouse backward and lift it. The USB receiver is typically stored next to the battery.

2. Choose Your Connection Method
The Signature M550 L offers two ways to connect to your device: via the Logi Bolt USB receiver or via Bluetooth Low Energy.
Option A: Connect via Logi Bolt USB Receiver
Insert the Logi Bolt USB receiver into an available USB-A port on your computer. The mouse should automatically connect. Ensure the mouse is powered on using the switch on its underside.

Option B: Connect via Bluetooth Low Energy
Turn on the mouse using the switch on its underside. Press and hold the connect button (usually located near the power switch or sensor) for a few seconds until the LED indicator light on the mouse starts blinking rapidly, indicating it's in pairing mode.
On your computer or device, go to Bluetooth settings and search for new devices. Select "Logitech Signature M550 L" from the list of available devices to complete the pairing process. The LED light on the mouse will turn solid when successfully connected.
