5.1. Gateway Installation and App Setup

• Local Silence: Press the large test/silence button on the alarming smoke detector. The alarm will be silenced for a short period (e.g., 10 minutes) before resetting.
• App Silence: Open the HEIMAN Home Security app. When an alarm is active, an option to silence the alarm will appear. Tap this option to silence the alarm remotely.

6.3. Interconnected Alarms

When one smoke detector detects smoke, all other connected detectors in the system will also sound an alarm. This ensures rapid warning throughout your entire home, even if the fire starts in an unoccupied area.
