Verify the alarm time. The alarm volume, while ascending, may be perceived as low by some users. Ensure the clock is placed in an optimal location for hearing.
Backlight does not stay on.	This model features a "backlight on demand" function, meaning it is designed to illuminate only for a short period (e.g., 10 seconds) when the SNOOZE/LIGHT button is pressed, not to stay on continuously. This is normal operation.
