3 அமைவு

3. The charging indicator light on the charger will illuminate (typically red) to show that charging is in progress.

4.4 Automatic Squelch (ASQ)

• The PNI PMR R40 PRO features an Automatic Squelch function, preset at level 5. This feature automatically mutes weak signals or background noise, ensuring clearer reception.

4.5 Timeout Timer (TOT)

• The Timeout Timer (TOT) is preset at 180 seconds. This function limits the duration of a single transmission to prevent accidental continuous broadcasting and conserve battery life.

4.6 Channel Monitoring

• The radio supports channel monitoring, allowing you to listen to activity on a selected channel without the squelch active. Refer to the specific button functions for activating this feature (usually one of the side buttons).

4.7 Private Conversations (Security Codes)

• The PNI PMR R40 PRO allows for the encryption of both transmission and reception using security codes. This feature enables private conversations. Programming of these codes typically requires specialized software and a programming cable (see Section 4.9).

4.8 Built-in LED Flashlight

• The radio includes a built-in LED flashlight for use in low-light conditions or emergencies. Activate it using the designated function button (refer to the radio's side buttons).
