For most Comica systems like the BoomX-D, pairing is automatic. If re-pairing is needed, turn on both devices within one meter of each other and long-press the 'Pair' button (often located on the side or integrated with volume controls) until the indicator lights confirm a connection.
On Comica transmitters equipped with a 3.5mm input, simply plugging in an external lavalier microphone will automatically disable the built-in internal microphone and switch the audio input to the external source.
Ensure you are using the correct cable. For smartphones with a 3.5mm jack, use a TRS to TRRS cable (often labeled or color-coded). For newer phones without a headphone jack, use an official Lightning or USB-C dongle that supports audio input, or use a Comica receiver with a direct digital output (Lightning/USB-C).
Firmware updates can be downloaded from the official Comica Audio website. Connect your device to a computer via USB, enter 'Update' or 'Copy' mode (refer to your specific manual for button combinations), and drag the firmware file into the device folder.
