The Portable Reader (T1074) is a rugged, handheld transceiver used to wirelessly communicate with GET Trakka Sensor Tags. In the event of a breakage, it operates in search mode to lock onto active RFID signals via a high-gain antenna, enabling quick location of missing machinery components.
Consumable GET Sensor Tags (like the SEN_GET_P1_5.5) are equipped with 3V Poly-Carbonmonofluoride Lithium Coin-Cell batteries designed for a 1-year active lifespan. Machinery-mounted Reference Sensors use higher capacity Lithium Thionyl Chloride batteries that can last up to 10 years.
