• How often should I change my Blu Technology water filters?

  It is recommended to replace your filters every 3-4 months, depending on water turbidity. You should also replace them if left unused for an extended period, or if you notice a drop in water pressure and restricted flow.

• How do I flush my new Blu Tech DUO or TRIO filter system?

  Turn on the pressurized water source, check for leaks around the canisters, and flush the system for 1-3 minutes (a minimum of 3 gallons) before use and after every filter exchange.

• What do I do if there are black specks in my filtered water?

  Remove the charcoal TASTY filter and soak it by fully submerging it in cold water for 15 minutes. Properly replace the filter and flush the system for an additional 1 minute to clear any lingering carbon particles.

• Can I use different plumbing fittings with my Blu Technology filter system?

  Yes, you can unscrew the provided PEX fittings and utilize the 1/2 Inch NPT ports. Be sure to use standard 1/2 Inch male NPT fittings and apply plumbing tape (Teflon tape), as using incorrect fittings can damage the unit and void the warranty.
